Networks: obvious when something needs fixing
Data networks are among the most important business enablers: when they work, nobody notices. When they fail, everyone does. We help find bottlenecks, light up “dark” areas (measurement, path control, edge behaviour) and solve security-related networking in practice, not only on slides.
We help separate what to measure and manage now from what can wait without silent debt building up.
Typical delivery path
- Design: a modern, cost-aware network together with you — constraints, capacity, monitoring and documentation from day one.
- Rollout: bringing hardware and software live, including handover training for operations if needed.
- Operations: support for administration, monitoring and changes — reactive or as an ongoing service.
- Lifecycle: upgrades and technology transitions in controlled steps (including multi-vendor environments).
Data centres — critical data and workloads available, hidden from outsiders
The data centre often holds an organisation’s most important assets: applications, databases and backups. The whole must serve the purpose, scale in a controlled way and stay measurable. We help build environments that form a solid base for what you do now and next — whether the backdrop is virtualisation, HCI or a layered “three-tier” style architecture.
When capacity lives in colocation or a provider’s data hall, not everything can be done from afar with remote access alone. We arrange or coordinate remote hands work: cabling, component swaps and on-site checks by an experienced engineer following your instructions and change windows — so your people do not need to travel for every physical task.
Where our skills help
- Design and delivery: demanding data-centre builds; project leadership in supplier chains when needed.
- Migrations: virtual machine moves and hypervisor changes in controlled windows.
- Storage and virtualisation: choosing and integrating storage and virtualisation for your workloads (e.g. VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Proxmox) — without artificial lock-in to one brand.
- Backup: within the DC, between sites and to cloud; RPO/RTO targets are written down and tested.
- Recovery: DR designs where critical systems can be raised in another site or cloud protection in a controlled way.
- Cyber resilience: isolated backup and recovery models (“vault” thinking) when backups must be separated from the normal admin path.
Technical service management
IT teams carry a lot: keeping the current environment running, security, procurement and business-driven development, often all at once. Technical service management is where experienced consultants help ensure IT actually supports the business: prioritisation, architecture direction, partner coordination and naming risks.
- Supporting internal teams: guidance, practices and “what first” clarity.
- Strategy: IT plans and roadmaps tracked with concrete follow-up.
- Procurement: requirements, comparisons and advocacy with other suppliers when needed.
- External role: if you have no IT organisation of your own, we can extend technical leadership for continuity and currency.
Microsoft 365 and cloud identity
Changes touching Microsoft 365 can be rare but huge: security policies, tenant structure, email migrations or post-merger combinations. We help define, plan and implement changes in a controlled way — so users keep working and auditability is preserved.
